My foreign friend who's living in the area recommended this place coz I loved BBQ ribs. It was good but compared to my favorite one on Nana (also smokehouse)ribs and cornbread were better overthere. The ribs was tasty but quite dry out not as juicy as my favorite places. The beef brisket was too fatty. The big cornbread, I preferred smaller size that crispy outside and soft inside from my favorite place. The Best was smoky shirmp quesadillas and the service was Stella. But it was No service charge add to the bill at the end after I paid I have to asked if there's any tip box and finally found it. They're deserved tip. If I living nearby I may have up my favorite place on Nana. But eventually my residential area is near Prompong. P.S. It's hard to find comfortable chairs here, there's some but not many available. Overall foods good and portions big for Asian.

The Smokin’ Pug has a great, international vibe. It is really feels like dining abroad, with lots of expats around. The restaurant is cozy, and the food is excellent, especially the pork ribs. There’s also a good variety of drinks. Service is friendly and attentive, and the location is easy to get to, though parking can be limited. Better to book in advance. I've been coming here every time I go to Bangkok for years. It had been a while this last time and it didn't disappoint. The brisket is absolutely lit and so are the beef ribs. The service is always excellent and keep those cheap n dirtyartinis coming. What an absolute gem.
Came for a meal with the wife. The place is fun and informal. The hosts and staff were friendly and welcoming. The beers were excellent. The food; first the portion sizes are huge, we couldn't finish the plates we ordered. The brisket is to die for, an absolute triumph, for us the pork ribs were a little dry as was the beef rib, they were both good but didn't quite hit the magnificence of the brisket. The sides were a little on the heavy side, but that is more the style of food. Come here for the brisket and the beers, bring an appetite! We would come here again, recommended.
Wonderful American style smoking meat restaurant. Owned by Americans, that know how to smoke meat. The moment you enter the place you can feel it's something else in the view. Food is amazing! Service is beyond great. We loved everything about this place. We got the half rack baby back ribs and half brisket and split it for 2 people. I recommend this place for those who are looking for some non Asian food.
The pulled pork burger and nacho dish were flavorful and satisfying. The pulled pork was a lot and overflowing out of the burgerand the onion rings were crispy too. The vibe is great for chillin and relaxing with small group of friends. I didn’t make a reservation as i and my friends kinda make a decision at very last minute. The restaurant was full, so the staff was so helpful and could manage to have a table for us. Really appreciated.
Probably the best ribs I’ve had. Ever. I was super surprised at how quickly the food came, thinking it was going to be reheated. However!!! It was unbelievable; chicken was juicy and soft, the meat fell of the bones in the ribs, and the nachos were perfectly covered! I’ll definitely be going back… after I’ve made some room in my stomach!
Loved the food, love bbq food, was good to have something a bit different than the Thai food which I'd been living off for a few weeks. Definitely recommend, make sure you book as the place fills up fast.
